Training objectives
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:
- Define a coaching plan in agreement with the employee
- Make the coaching process a dialogue
- Identify obstacles to development and help the employee to overcome limits to his/her own development
- Identify the ethical and managerial limits to the coaching activities so that it remains productive in the long term.
Course contents
- Define the participants' objectives
- Understand the notion of coaching:
- Integrate the working methods of the coach
- Establish the limits and expectations of the employee and the coach.
- Determine the aspects that need to be looked at and how to act on them
- Manage the coaching interview
- Work on obstacles
- Work on self-image, beliefs and overcoming whatever is restricting a staff member's development
- The pyramid of change
- Accommodate the long term vision of the development requirements and the implementation of a practical and attainable action plan
- Summary and personal action plan
Follow up and application
Training can be supplemented by coaching sessions for:
- Following up on the plan of action and the difficulties in applying it.
- Long term integration of tools.
